Bringing a wealth of experience to the current role as Director of Front Office, Yomi began his career with Marriott International in the United States with Atlanta Marriott Marquis as Housekeeping and Spa Manager in 2011 after successfully completing the Internship programme. He then progressed his career and took senior roles in Rooms Operations at the Renaissance Atlanta Downtown.
In 2016, Yomi embarked on his first pre-opening journey as Front Office support to train the team to open Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel and the rebranding of The Ritz Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert.
His passion for pre-opening continued with his appointment as Front Office Manager at the Renaissance Downtown Dubai in 2017 and as the pre-opening trainer for The Bodrum EDITION in 2018.
Yomi joins JW Marriott Marquis Dubai from the Dubai EDITION where he was employed as the pre-opening Front Office Manager. Yomi currently holds the prestigious title of the president of Amicale Internationale de Reception, UAE (AICR UAE).
Yomi’s expertise and extensive rooms division background will play a pivotal role in further delivering results for the Front Office Operations at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.
Introducing Mohamed Hassan
Mohamed joins the team as the new Director of Services overlooking Housekeeping, Laundry and Uniform Room Operations.
With over 25 years of hospitality experience, Mohamed commenced his career in hospitality in 1997 at the Movenpick El Houna, Egypt as Housekeeping Supervisor.
Over the last 19 years in Dubai, Mohamed has held multiple leadership roles across different hotel brands like Intercontinental Dubai Festival City, DAMAC Hotels and Resorts, Yassat Gloria Hotel and Apartments and TRYP by Wyndham Dubai as Executive Housekeeper. Before joining JWMM, Mohamed was employed as the Cluster Director of Housekeeping for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
With Mohamed’s extensive experience and passion, Mohamed will essay a crucial role in delivering outstanding results for the Housekeeping Operations at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.
